atentiko offers language courses and authentic experiences, born from the real life of cities and of the people who live there.
Our ambition
A language isn’t only learnt from a textbook. It’s learnt in a street, at a market, on a café terrace, in a chat with someone from the neighbourhood.
That’s what we want to offer: language courses written city by city, about the places, the people, the food and the expressions of each destination. Then authentic experiences with local experts, to practise on the spot what you’ve learnt.
Learning before you leave, enjoying your trip more, and keeping the connection once you’re home: that’s the path we’re building.
A word from the founder
I’m Martin. I spent 25 years working in software and e-learning.
Throughout those years, I observed. I saw brilliant tools and discouraging ones, courses that make you want to keep going and others you drop after three days. I learnt what makes the difference: carefully crafted content, an interface that steps aside for what matters, and the pleasure of making progress.
With atentiko, my ambition is simple: to offer the best possible product, without compromise. Every lesson, every exercise, every screen is designed with that in mind.
